Crisis Center Shelter

YWCA Enid is dedicated to helping survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and strangulation. Hope Starts Here

Shelter

You are not to blame! No one ever "deserves" to be abused.

YWCA Enid's Crisis Center Shelter serves as a sanctuary for individuals and families fleeing domestic violence, offering emergency shelter from danger. Within its walls, survivors find not only a safe place to stay but also a supportive environment to begin to rebuild their lives.

Moreover, the shelter provides HOPE, inspiring survivors and equipping them with the tools and support they need to navigate their journey towards healing and independence. Through empowering programs and compassionate support, individuals are encouraged to reclaim their sense of self-worth and take control of their futures.

Services offered to those staying on the Crisis center Shelter

For those ready to stay at our Crisis Center Shelter, our advocates guide them through an intake assessment, provide information about YWCA Enid’s programs, and offer referrals to additional community services. The intake marks the beginning of personalized support, as our advocates work with the survivor to choose HOPE and support them through the recovery journey.

  • Case Management: Personalized advocacy empowering survivors to make informed decisions, set goals, and build skills for stability. This includes support for basic needs and essential transportation, safety planning, as well as providing information about Oklahoma Victims Bill of Rights.
